Regenerative Design in Digital Practice: Tools for Ecology, Carbon & Health

The Digital Edge of Regenerative Design

06 November 2025 | Online | full day crash course

Are you a design professional who seeks a deeper regenerative framework to guide your work? Or a sustainability consultant looking for digital workflows and case studies that can turn regenerative goals into practice?

On the 6th of November 2025 (online, full day), Living Future Europe, in collaboration with Prof. Emanuele Naboni, hosts a practitioner crash course where Ladybug Tools, Pollination, MVRDV, Henning Larsen, Foster + Partners, Ramboll, GRIMSHAW, THIRD NATURE, MIT/Climateflux, and McNeel EU, demonstrate the digital workflows they use to deliver regenerative outcomes.  Every session ties tools to decisions, metrics, and deliverables that you can immediately apply in your practice and research.

Concept created & directed: Carlo Battisti, Emanuele Naboni.
Organised by: Living Future Europe

Learning Outcomes

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

  1. Understand the principles of regenerative design and apply the rationale to projects and digital models, informing daily design decisions.

  2. Apply simulation, computational design tools, and AI to develop climate‑adaptive, circular, and biodiversity‑enhancing strategies.

  3. Evaluate digital workflows and real-world case studies that integrate regenerative frameworks across scales—from buildings to cities—unpacking pipelines.
